How would you describe Capitol Riverfront to friends and visitors?
Capitol Riverfront is the most exciting place to witness the growth of Washington, DC. New restaurants, modern apartment buildings and bars open every month, and one of Major League Baseball's most exciting teams is right next door. I think there is something for everyone to do in Capitol Riverfront.
Why did WeWork decide to locate its first coworking space south of the Mall in Capitol Riverfront?
WeWork always looks to have a presence in the most dynamic neighborhoods in any city. With all the excitement surrounding Capitol Riverfront, it was an easy choice for our first southeast DC location.
So far, what has been your favorite place to visit in the neighborhood?
I love the Yards Park area. Great food, plenty of activities, and some awesome music in the summertime.

What do you and other WeWork members love about working in Capitol Riverfront?
Everyone loves how metro accessible the area is, and the great dining options for casual and formal needs. The ability to walk down M Street and get to the park is a major bonus as well.
WeWork is pretty well known for its innovative interiors and awesome amenities. Tell us about some of your favorite features of WeWork 80M.
WeWork members are constantly in a state of hustle. They work long hours, so naturally caffeine is always appreciated. We have a state of the art espresso machine and a cold brew keg supplied by one of our DC members, Common Wealth Joe.
Since a new season is upon us, what fall happenings are you most looking forward to in the neighborhood?
Our members couldn’t be more excited for Cava to be opening right next door. We have a few people who moved from our Chinatown location and are so excited they get to continue to have their favorite lunch spot right next door.
