Hello Spring! Taste the flavors of the season this month and throughout spring with the National Cherry Blossom Festival. Through the RAMW and NCBF Cherry Picks program, neighborhood restaurants are featuring cherry blossom-inspired menu items available during the festival period along with grab-n-go options exclusively offered during Petalpalooza. Here are all the eateries celebrating the cherry blossom season in Capitol Riverfront.
Agua 301*
Stop by Agua 301 during Petalpalooza for chicken empanadas, beef empanadas, vegetable empanadas, guacamole and chips, chips and salsa and lots more. All items will be available for purchase in-store or for pre-order online.
Circa
Circa is celebrating the National Cherry Blossom Festival with a Cherry Blossom Cheesecake. The white chocolate cheesecake with a cherry compote is available for purchase on their menu during the duration of the festival.
Compass Coffee
Compass Coffee is featuring their Cherry Blossom Blend coffee for the entire spring season. Coffee drinkers can purchase their signature blend in tins or 5lb bags, as well as their bright pink Cherry Blossom Cold Brew in store.
Cold Stone Creamery*
Cold Stone Creamery is joining in on the festivities with fun ice cream flavors. Their Birthday Cake Remix, Chocolate Devotion, Founders Favorite, Oreo Overload, and Silk Almond Milk Chocolate flavors are all available for purchase for the duration of Petalpalooza.
District Winery
Enjoy the District Bloom cocktail throughout the Cherry Blossom Festival at District Winery. Infused with cherry blossom tea vodka, District Winery Zinfandel, orange juice, cranberry juice, and Chambord Liqueur, it's the perfect cocktail to sip on this spring season.
Gatsby
Gatsby will be unveiling a special cocktail in honor of the National Cherry Blossom Festival. Made with Haku Vodka, Mancino Sakura Vermouth, blossom syrup, lemon, and bubbles, the full bloom cocktail is available for purchase when dining in the restaurant.
Hatoba*
Hatoba is ensuring sushi rolls are easily accessible during the Petalpalooza celebration with three different bento boxes that you can choose from.
Ice Cream Jubilee
Bring in the spring season with new ice cream flavors from Ice Cream Jubilee. Enjoy Smoked Vanilla Sakura Cherry, Raspberry Rose, Blackberry Elderflower, Orange Blossom Tea Cake, Blackberry Chamomile, Honey Lemon Lavender, and cherry blossom-inspired flavor, Cherries Jubilee, through the end of April. These six flavors will be available for purchase in flights, scoops, take-home pints, and for nationwide shipping through Goldbelly.
Kilwins*
A variety of confections will be available for purchase at Kilwins during the Petalpalooza celebration. Munch on their sweet treats such as caramel popcorn, nutcracker sweets, boxed chocolates, fudge, candy, and more.
Mah-Ze-Dahr Bakery*
During Petalpalooza, the nationally acclaimed bakery is offering a few treats up for grab and go. These include a Cherry Blossom Spritzer, made with sparkling water and a splash of cherry syrup, and limited edition Cherry Blossom Entremets which includes a white chocolate mousse, cherry, pistachio sponge, lemon cake and a pistachio glaze.
Osteria Morini
This Italian eatery is participating in the Cherry Blossom Festival celebration with their Riso dessert, an orange blossom rice pudding with cherry compote, and meringue kisses. They will also feature their Fioretta Cocktail, made with beefeaters gin, maraschino liqueur, cocchi americano, cherry purée, and a lime. Both items will be available when dining-in throughout the duration of the festival and on Petalpalooza.
Rasa*
Rasa is partnering with local Baltimore-based company Itaberco to create their all-vegan Cherry Blossom Lassi Soft Serve, which will be available for purchase for the length of the National Cherry Blossom festivities. Attendees can also purchase mini samosas, or their Aloo Need Is Love or Tikka Chance On Me Bowls during Petalpalooza.
Sukuta
Sukuta is celebrating the Cherry Blossom season with a variety of fun bento boxes and cherry blossom-themed rolls. Their Cherry Blossom Kampachi and Sakura Roll are just some of the new specials you can indulge in this spring.
Tap99*
Pour your favorite Cherry Blossom-inspired beer at this self-pour taphouse. Try Peak Bloom, a spicy wheat beer with subtle tartness of cherries from Red Brewing, or a Cherry Blossom Ale fermented on cherry juice from Oliver Brewing Company. Both beers are available on tap during the Cherry Blossom Festival period. During Petalpalooza they will be offering brick oven pizzas and to-go beers and cocktails.
