Gather your friends and as many layers as possible to enjoy another installation of Ice Yards - winter's hottest frozen ticket. This arctic experience will be jam-packed with frosty fun including ax-throwing, a snowboard simulator, glacial Instagrammable moments, live ice carving, and can't-miss giveaways! Don't forget to warm up at a toasty fire pit with snacks and beverages from participating neighborhood restaurants. The Yards and the Polar Bear Plunge are also joining forces to benefit the Special Olympics District of Columbia. An above-ground swimming pool will be erected at The Yards Park, and participants will "take the plunge" to the cheers of the crowd!
