The Bavarian revelry will begin at 2:00 pm at Dacha Navy Yard with costumes, contests, and a live concert featuring Oktoberfest Queen and Yodeling Superstar Manuela Horn, Capital Chill Band, and Dacha’s own Polka band. Costumes and traditional outfits like lederhosen and dirndls are encouraged; anyone in costume will receive a free pint from the traditional keg, while supplies last. Weekly contests for attendees will include stein holding, pretzel eating, stein racing and even a German spelling bee to bring the spirit of Munich into our DC community. 

Musical performances at Dacha Navy Yard will include a mix of popular music with Oktoberfest accents including yodeling and polka to get everyone in the celebratory mood.
