As the Washington Nationals baseball season has come to an end, the Capitol Riverfront BID is going back to where it all started with a vision for a Washington, DC baseball team and a ballpark in southeast DC. For the second 10 Years of Growth Speaker Series event titled "Growth of the Nationals and Neighborhood," hear from former DC Mayor Anthony Williams who played an instrumental role in bringing Nationals Park to Capitol Riverfront.

Join the BID on Thursday, November 9th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Budweiser Brewhouse in Nationals Park for a reception and panel with Mayor Williams, former Office of Planning Director Andy Altman, and Nationals VP of Community Relations Gregory McCarthy, who will discuss their vision for Nationals Park and the catalytic role that it's played in the growth of Capitol Riverfront.
