The Grand Opening of the Canal Park Ice Rink, hosted by Tri-State Management and the Capitol Riverfront BID, will feature live music by DJ EPX and DJ RI5E, a skating performance by Capital Theatre on Ice, a light display, Slapshot of the Washington Capitals, treats from Captain Cookie, and more.

As part of new management improvements, the rink will have an entire inventory of new skates that guarantee sharpness throughout the season. The Canal Park Ice Rink remains the only rink in the city with a unique figure-8 skating path and is only a block from the Metro.
