Zack Lewkowicz has lived in the Capitol Riverfront for two years. As a U.S. Department of Transportation employee, he appreciates the incredible convenience and walkability of the neighborhood. When not at his day job, Zack spends most of his time taking pictures all over the District. The Yards Park is one of his favorite places to shoot since it's close in proximity to his apartement and super photogenic. Visit www.zackowicz.com to check out Zack's local photos!

TaKorean is easily my favorite. Fast service, friendly staff, and it’s delicious. I’m also a big fan of Bonchon’s crispy wings and Bluejacket’s double burger.
How would you describe the Capitol Riverfront to friends and visitors?
I would say that the area has a very dynamic flow to it. When there’s a big event going on or the Nats are in town, you really feel the hustle and bustle city vibe. On the off days everything is more relaxed and quiet. I like that it never gets too hectic here.
What is your favorite event in the Capitol Riverfront?
Baseball games at Nats Park are the best part of summer and fall. When baseball season is going, the neighborhood really comes alive. The summer movie series is also another awesome activity to bring friends to.
